මේ අප ඉතිහාසය වෙනස් කළ පරිච්ඡේද වලින් කිහිපයක් පමණි. මේ කිසිවක් සඳහා රජයේ ප්‍රතිපාදන ලැබුනේ නැත, ව්‍යාපෘති ලියවුනේද නැත, ඒ වෙනුවෙන් උසස්වීම් වරප්‍රසාද වරදාන ලැබුනේද නැත. නමුත් ඒ දැනුම ඒ අභාෂය අප  සඟවාගන්නේද නැත. ඒ සියල්ල අප අපගේ සේවා ලාභියාවෙත දායාද කරනු ලබන්නේ එය අපගේ වෘත්තීය යුතුකම ලෙස සළකමිනි.

වෛද්‍ය රසායනාගාර සේවාවේත්, සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාවේත් ප්‍රගමනය උදෙසා ස්වයංපෝෂිත වූ වෘත්තිකයන් හදන්නට හැකිවූ අභිමානය පමණක් අපට මෙන්ම සමස්ථ ශ්‍රී ලාංකික වෛද්‍ය රසායනාගාර සේවාවට පන්නරය සපයනු ඇත.

The purpose of this act is the welfare of the general public of Sri Lanka. This main purpose of the act is not achieved because of the shortcomings of the act. And my resignation is not a sudden decision. I have been observing the conduct of SLMC for five years. Sri Lanka Medical Council receives grievances of patients and can act as a court of inquiry. But two thirds of members of the SLMC are doctors. They are the prosecutors, They are also the judges. They determine the sentence. Tell me if that is reasonable?”

How does it justify the undervaluing of post graduate Qualifications of Non-MBBS Health Professionals through the amendment of Medical Ordinance by giving sole authorization to the PGIM as post qualifying institute



වෛද්‍ය පනතට, රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිළධාරීන්ගේ සේවා ව්‍යවස්ථාව ඇතුල් කිරීම මගින් උත්තරීතර නීතිය නිත්‍යාණු කූල නොවන අයුරින් වෙනස් කිරීමේ හැකියාව ලැබෙනවා. වෛද්‍ය සේවා ව්‍යවස්ථාව වෙනස් කරන හැමවිටකදීම, සෞඛ්‍ය පිළිබද රටේ නීතියද වෙනස් වෙනවා. එසේම වෛද්‍ය සේවා ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ සංශෝධන මගින් ඕනෑම වෘත්තියක් අතික්‍රමණය කිරීමේ නිත්‍යාණුකූල බලය ලැබෙනවා. වෘත්තීන් 20ක් පාළනය කෙරෙන වෛද්‍ය පණතට, එක් වෘත්තියකට අදාල ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් පමණක් ඇතුල් කිරීම වැරදියි..

How can expect maintaining justice and iquity of other health professionals and right of health seekers other than ensuring the Autonomy of that Trade Union.



වෛද්‍ය සභවේ බහුතරය වෘත්තිය සමිතියක් යටතට පත්වීම මගින්, එහි ස්වාධීනත්වය කෙලෙසෙනවා. වෘත්තීය සමිතියක්, තම වෘත්තිකයින් ගැන පමණක් සිතමින්, ආර්ත්මාර්තයෙන් කටයුතු කීරිම සාමාන්‍යක් වුවද, වෛද්‍ය සභාවට කිසිසේත් එසේ කටයුතු කල නොහැකියි. එහි, සෑම සෞඛ්‍ය වෘත්තිකයෙකු සදහාම පිලිගත හැකි පාළණ ව්‍යුහයක් තිබිය යුතුයි. ඒ සදහා අනෙක් සෞඛ්‍ය වෘත්තීන්ටද ඉතා සුළු ඉඩකඩක් හෝ පැවතිය යුතුයි.

Objective of Medical Ordinance :

Regulate Ethical conduct of health professionals on behalf of health seekers of the country.



වෛද්‍ය පනත පවතින්නේ ජනතාවගේ සෞඛ්‍ය නිත්‍යාණූකූලව ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට මිස එක වෘතිය සමිතියක අභිලාෂයන් ඉටු කිරීමට නොවේ. එසේ වීමට ඉඩ හැරීමෙන් වෛද්‍ය නොවන සෞඛ්‍ය වෘත්තීන් අපහාසයට හා පීඩාවට ලක්ව ඇති බව ඔප්පු වී ඇත.
